Your newness deck should be ready for buyers in January so they can consider you for their market season recommendations.
If you are already selling at retail, you should also have your sampling, GWP and promotion budgets ready at the beginning of the year. It doesn’t mean you have to produce or commit to all of your plans, but you should have an idea of what it will cost to produce/participate in programs. For example, Anthropologie asks for submissions for their Holiday Advent Calendar as early as January.
